These days the influence of crypto assets can be noticed in the market dynamics. Many companies are developing solutions already based on crypto assets and crypto economics is a developing field that, of course, will be broadly adopted in a near future. Even though there are significant solutions in the market for hotel bookings, none of them offers to the hotels the possibility of booking rooms using both fiat and crypto assets, where the hotel chooses how to receive the amount. Taking as an example, major booking platforms actually make money through charging hotels for selling their inventories. As giant OTAs (over-the-air), these booking platforms have millions of travellers who visit their sites to find a hotel to book. To help out those travellers, they come up with a list of available hotels. When someone finds a suitable hotel and reserves it through their site, only then the profit is taken. These booking services do not charge guests to make money. Instead, they take a percentage from the sellers and hotels.
For example, if someone is a guest and needs to book a space, they can use the booking services for free. If someone is a host or hotelier, then they should get ready to share their profit with these booking services. This system is decentralised, so EmpireCash does not take any profit from these transactions. Instead, the only thing charged from both sides are transaction fees, necessary to make transactions possible through the platform. So hotels are free to create offers in this platform using this difference of price. EmpireCash will be the crypto asset behind the Empire App, and it will be used for booking rooms and hotel services. The user can check-in and check-out once they are at the hotel facilities without needing to head to the reception. Everything will be processed through the Empire platform, giving for the hotels and guest the best comfort and experience.
In a near future, the second iteration of the app will offer an integration with services of in-room facilities automation. So, with this app, the user can change in-room settings prior to arriving, like turning on the air conditioner, pre-warming the bathtub water, etc.
